Tribune Bay Park Addition

In November 2021, the Province completed the purchase of two private properties on Hornby Island adjacent to Tribune Bay Provincial Park. The two properties were purchased with the goal of adding them to the park system to ensure recreational opportunities and other park values are protected in perpetuity. Since a management plan already exists for Tribune Bay Park, management guidance will be developed for these two additional properties that is supplemental to the existing plan. BC Parks welcomes your thoughts and questions on the future management of this proposed park expansion. Please find a link below to the online engagement page. BC Parks is also providing on-island opportunities for input.
