

Beaver Creek Provincial Park
About This Park
Beaver Creek Park is located in the British Columbia Southern Interior, Southeast of the City of Trail. It is situated along the eastern bank of the Columbia River, north of the Waneta International border crossing and parallel to Highway 22A. It is bordered by residential lands and the Trail Airport. The park is a popular local recreation area and protects the habitat of a variety of wildlife and vegetation species, some of which are rare and endangered.
Reservations
The Beaver Creek campground is currently closed. It is undergoing a facility upgrade project. Reservations for the 2023 camping season are currently on hold.
Location
7km south of Trail on the Old Waneta Road (Hwy 22A). Trail, Castlegar, Montrose, and Fruitvale are the communities closest to this park.

Accessibility
There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet located in the day-use area and the day-use shelter is also accessible. The shower building located at the park entrance provides easy access to both showers and flush toilets.

Vehicle Accessible Camping
The park has one campground situated along the Columbia River. There are 19 sites along the river some of which provide views of the river. There are no pull through sites and most of the sites are medium in size. Approximately 8 sites will accommodate larger recreation vehicles. All of the sites are evenly spaced and are semi shaded in a new growth mixed forest.
This park offers services during the peak season from May to September. This campsite has its own local reservation system. Visitors select a vacant site and staff will come to collect fees. There is a gate and staff host residence located at the park entrance. This provides good 24 hour security. There are no pay phones in the park. The closest store and pay phone is located at the Waneta Junction approximately 4 kilometres North of the park.
